Rochester, NY RGRTA bus company.
On Thursday I did not see any #8 bus headed East on Main st. starting at Main St and Clinton Ave. at 6:34PM.
I had downloaded a bus #8 schedule from your website earlier that day.
And I pinpointed a "Weekday" bus in your "Weekday" column (vs weekends).
I was waiting at Main and Alexander.
I looked several times at my accurate cell phone time as I walked to my stop and when looking-up, noticed that at 6:25PM, the #8, the #2 and possibly a #20 were all heading east. All part of the 6:21PM line-up.
While the 6PM hour seems like the heighth of opportunity to catch a bus, it may have been the thought of the 6:34PM driver or supervisor that day that thought or said, "We don't need a 6:34." Even though its what is delineated in your RGRTA Bus schedule #8 on weekdays.
If there is a restitution or compensatory act provided for working citizens in this Rochester, NY economy by your bus company, I would really like to hear about it.
If there is even a written apology by your bus company to my boss for having had a Rochester citizen try to work (2 jobs) in this economy relying and depending on RGRTA public transportation and missing his /her bus because RTS had some good reason why they did not run their bus at the time printed- I would really like to hear about it.
This is all the time I can put into trying to survive in this economy using the cities public transportation system and being accountable to two employers at a time in Rochester, N.Y. within this month of November and year 2009.

Jay
